Welcome to Digital Watch Point, a casual web corner where tech meets reflection. This blog is my space to share insights, document lessons learned, and dive into ideas in cybersecurity, IT, and project management.
You’ll find a mix of case studies, how-to guides, and opinion pieces, all written to make complex topics more approachable. Whether you’re a fellow cybersecurity professional, project manager, or just a curious tech enthusiast, I hope you’ll find something useful—or at least thought-provoking.
Why I Started This Blog
Like many of us in tech, my notes and ideas were scattered everywhere—across Obsidian vaults, Excel sheets, Notepad files, and sticky notes I’d eventually lose. I wanted a centralized place not just to organize my thoughts but also to share them. Digital Watch Point is that space—my digital notebook made public, so others might learn from the same moments I’m learning from.
About Me
I’m Ryan Mulleneaux, currently working in a senior cybersecurity role with hands-on experience in security operations and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance). I’ve spent years navigating technical challenges and strategic planning, and now I’m channeling some of that experience into writing and reflection.
You’ll probably find me outside when I’m not digging into security frameworks or managing incident response—playing pickleball, riding my bike, or just enjoying the fresh air.
Thanks for stopping by—let’s learn and grow together.
